Extend game-memory for more stable gaming

When Red Orchestra was released in 2011, RAM for computers was still expensive, had only a few megabytes of capacity, and SSDs didn't exist yet. Therefore, games developed at that time were designed to store as little game data as possible in RAM and on the hard drives used back then. All of that has changed drastically; RAM and SSDs now have high storage capacities. In Red Orchestra 1, you can now adjust various settings that were useful back then but are no longer relevant today.
How to do that:
  1. Open your "redorchestra.ini" file, you will find it normally on the following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Orchestra\System
  2. Search for section [Engine.GameEngine] . Edit the entry from CacheSizeMegs=32 to CacheSizeMegs=256
  3. That's all. Don't forget to save the file..
! Don't worry, you cannot "destroy" something. If your Red Orchestra game will not start anymore after the changes you made, because you've done something wrong possibly, you just need to delete your "redorchestra.ini" before you start the game again. Of course you must recover all your game-settings after this action in consequence, because you reset the game to factory values with this action.
P.S. ..thats why I recommend to create a copy of your original "redorchestra.ini" file (name it "redorchestra.ini.backup" p.e..) before you change something on the original file.
